JOB SUMMARY
The Service Technician is responsible for completing installation and start-up, replacement, maintenance and repairs on industrial/commercial thermal fluid, steam and hot water boilers, burners, and auxiliary equipment.
The Service Technician is responsible to insure each job meets and exceeds the service department operational and financial goals.
The Service Technician must be a team player.
The Service Technician must be a detail-oriented, people-friendly, with strong analytical skills; able to manage themselves, a self-starter capable of accomplishing necessary tasks within deadlines established by the company and the customer.
The Service Technician must maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, other team members and managers.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Ohio Boiler Operator License preferred but not required

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Associates, Technical School or equivalent experience preferred. BA or BS a plus.
- Minimum two - ten years technical knowledge and field experience as a boiler repair technician, HVAC technician or equivalent. [Based on Level]
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and meet Boiler Specialist Inc.’s insurance qualifications to operate a company vehicle or drive own vehicle for company purposes.
Ohio Boiler Operator License preferred but not required
