Our company is looking for a highly motivated, self-starting Preventive Maintenance Technician Lead to fill an opening in our Nashville, TN location. Our company specializes in boiler and boiler related equipment sales, service and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. The position classification within our company is that of Preventive Maintenance Technician Lead. Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians in performing preventive maintenance on industrial and hydronic boilers.
- Train entry-level technicians how to shut down, open, perform annual maintenance, close, and ensure proper startup of boilers.
- Conduct monthly safety checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform hydro testing and combustion analysis.
- Troubleshoot issues with boilers, deaerators, feed tanks, and pumps.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively using industry-specific vocabulary.
- Assist the coordinator with ensuring the proper headcount to perform job duties efficiently.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and make service recommendations on items outside the scope of work.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Service Manager and the Service Coordinator.
- Reasonable, reliable attendance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Technical school is a plus.
3. 2-3 years relevant experience required
- In-depth knowledge of boiler systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to teach and mentor entry-level technicians.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with hydro testing and combustion analysis.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong industry vocabulary.
- Attention to detail with the ability to make service recommendations on items outside the scope of work.

Physical Requirements of Job
1. Frequently required to stand or walk for 6 hours a day; sit in a car for up to 8 hours a day.
