Veterinary Care Professional

Overview:

Boiling Springs Animal Hospital is a reputable veterinary clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to animals. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in all duties, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Prepare animals for exams and surgery, adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Perform medical treatments, administer medications under supervision, and collect laboratory samples.
• Work collaboratively with staff to address immediate needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for animals, adhering to high standards of hygiene.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb; manipulate up to 50 pounds and lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Fluent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and withstand exposure to pets, anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medication/controlled substances.
