Responsibilities
Learns the organization's policies, processes, systems, products, and/or services and responsibilities based on the incumbent's functional work assignments. Acquires knowledge of industry practices through on-the-job training. Interns will learn about purchasing, receiving, monitoring inventory for a manufacturing facility and other jobs as assigned. This is a seasonal/temporary salary non-exempt position.
- Complete cycle counts to support meeting our year-end targets
- Cover for summer vacations/ leave
- Handle the physical receiving and stocking of goods
- Assist with warehouse projects including
- Re-organizing bin locations to better align with needs
- Tidying up and re-organizing the storerooms
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience/Physical Functions
High school diploma, or equivalent; working toward college degree. Effective communication skills and ability to work well with team members. Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, and/or pulling for up to 8 hours a day.
