Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwright/Machinist A to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, performing various tasks such as cutting, welding, machine alignment, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-task assignments in a wood products manufacturing environment
- Cut, weld, and perform machine alignment tasks
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs
Requirements
- Two years' experience in maintenance/millwright roles
- Prior experience in wood products manufacturing an asset
- Vocational or technical school diploma in welding and machine alignment/installation preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
