Job Overview
This entry-level position requires a strong foundation in electrical systems, including multi-meters, wiggies, meggers, amprobes, temperature meters, and servo drivers. The successful candidate will have the ability to install and bend conduit up to three inches using various bending and threading equipment, as well as operate hand tools and shop equipment safely.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, and devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using multi-meters, wiggies, meggers, and other test equipment.
- Work with Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLC) and change basic ladder logic programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, and transformers.
Qualifications
- Three years of electrical experience in a manufacturing industry required.
- Vocational or technical school diploma in electricity/electronics preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate commitment to total quality and continuous improvement.
