About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. As an Electrical Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems within our plywood mill.
To be successful in this role, you must possess knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLC) and have the ability to troubleshoot/change electric motors, diagnose chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, MTS temposonics, and various sizes of transformers.
You will also be required to work with Windows-based computer programs such as Windows Explorer and RSLogix. A minimum of two years' experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing industry is necessary. Wood products field experience is considered a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and write technical documentation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and the ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and pre-employment physical is essential.
