What You’ll Do
As a Wine Shop Sales Associate, you’ll be the friendly face of our wine department. Your day-to-day will include:
- Delivering world-class customer service with a smile (and maybe a tasting note or two).
- Merchandising, rotating stock, and keeping displays looking sharp.
- Running the register and handling transactions with accuracy and care.
- Staying up to speed on wine knowledge (and state regulations around selling it).
- Supporting special orders, product returns, and wine events.
- Helping keep the wine bar/event center clean and inviting.
- Attending department meetings and tastings to stay informed and inspired.
- Pitching in wherever needed—and doing it with a team-first attitude.
- A working knowledge of wine and a passion for sharing it.
- Retail or customer service experience (bonus if it’s in wine!).
- Comfort using a cash register and handling cash/credit transactions.
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Willingness to wear the required uniform and follow food safety/sanitation standards.
