Who We Are
We’ve been Boise’s neighborhood grocer since 1973—starting as a scrappy food-buying club and growing into a community of 50,000 Co-Owners. With two stores (North End Village at Meridian) and three cool sidekicks (Wine Shop, Pet Shop, and Uncorked Wine Bar), the Boise Co-op is way more than a grocery store. We’re all about good food, good people, and giving back. We’re local, we care, and we love what we do.
Now Hiring: Deli Cook
We’re looking for someone who loves to cook, can follow a recipe like a pro, and knows their way around a kitchen. You’ll work in our production kitchen, prep stations, keep things clean, and help stock our grab & go with tasty, ready-to-eat meals.
What You’ll Do
- Cook up our approved recipes—no guesswork here!
- Follow food safety practices like a champ
- Keep stations clean and ready to roll
- Use all the kitchen gadgets (tilt skillet! mixers! blenders!)
- Keep our grab & go stocked and fresh
What You Bring
- Team spirit and a can-do attitude
- Open to feedback and always growing
- Safe knife skills and food handling know-how
- Able to follow recipes and read measurements
Bonus Points:
- ServSafe certified? Awesome.
- Culinary school grad? Cool but not required.
- Industry experience? Definitely helpful.
On Your Feet & In the Flow
You’ll be on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a busy grocery store setting with customers and coworkers coming and going.
