Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated individual who will operate in a dual role providing personal care to our clients in addition to office support for our regional management team. The role offers autonomy and flexibility of working in an office, residential setting and occasionally remote.

Key Responsibilities:
PCA Duties:
- Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Help patients with personal hygiene needs, including toileting and incontinence care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients to improve their quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients’ health status to supervisors and medical staff.
- Help patients with medication reminders and basic medication management (under guidance).
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by assisting with housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure patients’ comfort and safety while adhering to personal care and healthcare guidelines.
Office Assistant Duties:
- Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, take and send messages, and schedule appointments as needed.
- Manage patient intake and ensure necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records, data entry in our electronic medical records, and updating patient files as required.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing confidential medical and personnel records.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of office supplies and medical equipment.
- Support the office team with administrative tasks, including preparing reports and communication.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification or experience required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or personal care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and familiarity with office equipment.
- Empathy and compassion in providing patient care.
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous office assistant or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment with a flexible schedule.
