Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Support:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure the restaurant is operating at optimal performance, including food preparation, quality, and customer service.
  • Monitor restaurant processes to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and proper food handling at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure stock is ordered and maintained properly, minimizing waste and spoilage.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security, and closing duties.

2. Staff Supervision & Training:

  • Help recruit, hire, and train new staff, ensuring they understand Bojangles’ standards and procedures.
  • Supervise and support staff during shifts to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the development and training of staff, including providing guidance and feedback on performance.
  • Ensure employees are adhering to company policies and provide assistance in addressing disciplinary actions if needed.
  • Manage and evaluate employee performance, providing regular feedback and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.

3. Customer Service Excellence:

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promote a positive dining experience for all guests, ensuring all service and food quality standards are met.
  • Ensure that all team members provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to every guest.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and maintain a customer-first mindset throughout operations.

4. Financial & Operational Management:

  • Help manage the restaurant’s financial performance, including tracking sales, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
  • Assist the General Manager with budgeting, financial reporting, and setting goals for operational performance.
  • Monitor daily sales and labor costs, adjusting schedules and inventory as needed to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and register procedures are followed by the team.
  • Assist in the implementation of promotional campaigns and local marketing efforts to increase restaurant traffic and sales.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Help enforce all health and safety regulations, ensuring that both staff and customers have a safe dining environment.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed consistently by all team members.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all employees receive proper training on safety procedures, food handling, and sanitation practices.

6. Leadership & Team Development:

  • Assist with building a positive team culture, fostering teamwork, motivation, and high morale.
  • Lead by example and maintain a hands-on approach in daily restaurant activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them reach their potential and develop skills.
  • Step into leadership roles when the General Manager is unavailable, overseeing restaurant operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards are maintained.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); a degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the restaurant or food service industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional and effective manner.
  • Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and labor management.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and management.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle operational challenges and make decisions quickly to resolve issues.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for long periods during shifts.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., stock or supplies).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot kitchens and dining areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
