Marketing Intern: Assist the marketing team with various projects as well as help drive short-term and long-term departmental goals.
* Able to work in the Gaithersburg office: 30 West Watkins Mill Road, Gaithersburg
Essential Duties:
- Assist in areas of in-person and digital client experience at Boland
- Support and coordinate Boland classes and Boland sponsored events
- Maintain the editorial calendar and project management system
- Design social media posts and print needs
- Assist with sourcing, drafting and producing website and/or social media content, product brochures and case studies to incorporate the latest messaging, positioning, features and benefits
- Use a web builder to streamline website content
- Update PowerPoint presentations and other marketing materials, working within brand guidelines
- Organize our online literature and online sales toolkit
- Extract, organize and create a report/summary of our Social Media and website stats
- Extract, organize and create a report/summary of our open and click-through rates of various campaigns
- Additional duties as requested or required
Requirements:
- Available to work Spring Semester, in-person in Gaithersburg office.
- Currently pursuing a college degree, preferred in marketing, web design, public relations, communications, English, graphic design, or other related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable in updating website within website builder is strongly preferred
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop) is a plus
- Solutions oriented, critical thinker, organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, able to deliver with tight deadlines, task oriented
- Strong project management skills
