We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Servers/Catering Staff to join our dynamic team. As an Event Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests at various events. You will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards of quality, professionalism, and hospitality. This role requires a commitment to teamwork, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Service Excellence:
- Provide warm, welcoming, and genuinely connected service to all guests.
- Anticipate guests' needs and proactively address them.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Execute all aspects of service according to Bold Catering’s 14 Elements of Bold Service.
- Passing Hors d'oeuvres and beverages according to training standards.
- Setting up and maintaining Buffet and Station service.
- Event Setup & Breakdown:
- Assist with event setup, including unloading trucks, setting linens, arranging tables and chairs, and setting place settings.
- Ensure all setup is completed according to event diagrams and standards.
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup.
- Properly setting up a bar, and assisting in maintaining it.
- Teamwork & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with team members and event managers.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Follow instructions and guidelines provided by event managers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adherence to Standards:
- Comply with all uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain proper cell phone usage.
- Properly clock in and out, and follow all payroll procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering or event service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow strict uniform guidelines.
