Position Summary
As a Principal at Bold Charter School, you will play a key role in driving a culture of achievement that actualizes Bold's vision for a world-class public education. You will join a collaborative team of professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of educational excellence. You will work closely with Bold leadership to develop a deep understanding of Bold's model, vision, values, and culture. You will lead a school-based team committed to achieving ambitious outcomes for all students, driving high levels of student, family and team engagement.
To help us achieve our vision, we are searching for candidates with 3 years of school leadership experience in a high-performing K-12 school network or related setting. Ideal candidates will have a creative and solutions-oriented mindset, the ability to coach and develop teams to high levels of achievement, and a foundational belief that every child deserves a world-class education.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Developing a deep understanding of Bold's goals, vision, and values and how they guide our work
- Collaborating with leadership across the organization to set objectives and drive progress toward goals
- Leading a team to achieve ambitious outcomes, ensuring high levels of collaboration, alignment, development, and support
- Developing strong relationships that meaningfully engage and invest students, families, and team members in collaborating to achieve shared goals
- Implementing structures that foster a transparent, outcomes-oriented culture; regularly leading and participating in data reviews and coaching cycles
- Modeling Bold's core values and building a positive student and team culture across the school
- Demonstrating a mission-first mindset to ensure all decisions and actions are rooted in what is best for student achievement

Compensation
Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions across New York City charter schools. The starting salary range for this position is $140,000-$175,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
