Bolder Industries | Terre Haute is seeking a highly motivated and capable Finishing Operator to join our growing team. The Finishing Operator is responsible for ensuring the final product meets quality standards, the finishing system is running properly, by continuously monitoring product output and making necessary adjustments mechanically and through software. BolderBlack is a key product in the manufacture of tires, hoses, belts, wetsuits, plastic automotive parts and many other applications for household name brands. As a member of the finishing team, you will also have the opportunity to work in other areas of plant operations to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will have some operator experience in the manufacturing industry.

Key Duties :
- Monitor plant operations through control room software and communicate necessary actions to shift team members.
- Track and log regular activities and operational systems data
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform basic repairs and / or engage the maintenance team to perform repairs
- Perform regular product quality checks and lab tests, record data and report deviations to shift supervisor or leadership
- Consult with team members and make ongoing adjustments to systems, as needed, to ensure production and quality goals are met
- Operating a forklift daily
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Other tasks as requested by Management
Requirements and Qualifications :
Location :
Terre Haute, Indiana (in-facility only, remote not available)
Reporting :
Role will report directly to the Shift Supervisor
Schedule :
Full-time, 10-hour shifts, M-TH (may require some overtime to ensure timely delivery to customers)
Pay Range : 18.00 / hour

Work Conditions :
The manufacturing plant environment may be hot, noisy, with carbon black and oil present. Product streams include a carbon black stream, a liquid hydrocarbon oil stream, and a hydrocarbon vapor stream. Process equipment will be installed indoors and outdoors and will be at different levels. Access to this equipment will be via stairways and / or ladders. Safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, hearing protection, and at times a dust respirator will be required in manufacturing.
