Job Overview:
Bolder Industries | Maryville is seeking a highly motivated and capable Logistics and Packaging Operator to join our growing team. This role will be focused on packaging and coordinating final products to be delivered to meet customer needs. The primary responsibility in this role will be focused on a custom bagging application for our charter product, BolderBlack®. BolderBlack is a sustainable alternative to carbon black, which is a raw material found in black plastic or rubber products. BolderBlack is a key product in the manufacture of tires, hoses, belts, wetsuits, plastic automotive parts and many other applications for household name brands. As a member of the logistics team, you will also have the opportunity to work in other areas of plant operations to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will have some manufacturing, logistics or packaging experience.

Maryville, Missouri (in-facility only, remote not available)
Reporting
Role will report directly to the Facilities and Logistics Manager
Schedule
Full-time, 8-hour shifts, M-F (may require some overtime to ensure timely delivery to customers)
Pay Range
$17.25/hour
Incentives & Benefits
The manufacturing plant environment may be hot, noisy, with carbon black and oil present. Product streams include a carbon black stream, a liquid hydrocarbon oil stream, and a hydrocarbon vapor stream. Process equipment will be installed indoors and outdoors and will be at different levels. Access to this equipment will be via stairways and/or ladders. Safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, hearing protection, and at times a dust respirator will be required in manufacturing.

Key Duties
- Calibrate and prepare machinery for equipment operation as well as perform minor maintenance tasks
- Transferring material from bulk bags to totes
- Loading material into bagging system
- Seal bags at properly calibrated weights
- Loading sealed bags onto pallets and wrapping pallets for shipment
- Operating a forklift daily
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Other tasks as requested by Management
- Standing for long periods and lifting 50 lbs. consistently
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks for self and team and follow specified procedures to comply with health and safety standards
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
- High energy level, team player, excellent work ethic, ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to develop and enhance relationships with co-workers and other plant personnel
- Must be flexible and able to change directions quickly due to ever-changing customer needs
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
