Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established protocols.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met before guests check in.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
- Uphold a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals is essential.
- Ability to operate laundry machines and dry cleaning equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
