This is an on-site position located in Austin, TX.
What you'll be doing :
- Assist with shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing accordingly.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and / or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Ensure that all products are packed securely and arrive safely according to quality standards.
- File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Open boxes, crates and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via Microsoft Office and NetSuite.
- Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness, at all times.
- Drive trailers and trucks around the facility.
- Operate forklift in warehouse to move inventory.
- Utilize FedEx and UPS systems for shipping and receiving.
- Provide assistance to other departments in the location you are assigned.
- Comply with safety policies and requirements.

What you'll bring
Working Conditions. You'll use your hands to type. You'll stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, may have to step over, climb or balance around obstacles, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Our equipment can be heavy, you'll need to lift up to 75lbs.
