Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a SPIN [Stabilization Planning for Individual Needs] Director.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position establishes, administers, and directs the SPIN [Stabilization Planning for Individual Needs] Case Management Team, inclusive of wraparound clinical and medical services. This self-contained clinical team provides Medical, Mental Health and Substance Misuse treatment, intensive Case Management, and peer support services. The target population of SPIN is individuals who have been chronically homeless and diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Individuals enrolled in this program will be at risk of losing their housing. Every effort will be made to stabilize the individual and maintain their housing and/or transition them to a more appropriate level of care. Treatment will be delivered from a trauma informed care, person centered and humanistic lens.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree in social work or mental health counseling from an accredited school, college, or university.
LCSW/LMHC and CAP preferred.
Registered counseling intern will be considered if within six months of license and licensure exam has already been passed. Must be licensed or license eligible.
Minimum of five years relevant experience with significant experience in administration, case management, staff supervision. Experience working with high risk individuals and families with minor children. Experience working with veterans. Experience working with Severe Persistent Mental Illnesses.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Severe Persistent Mental Illnesses and related terminology and treatment, clinical services management, and supervision practices. Understanding of Trauma Informed Care, Adverse Childhood Experiences, impacts of Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress disorder, and Personality Disorders.
Good skills and demonstrated abilities preferred in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, controlling, counseling, Clinical/crisis intervention, communication - verbal and/or written, interpersonal and public relations, staff supervision, coordination/cooperation, problem solving, decision making, self-management, and such others that are usually and customarily considered necessary for the satisfactory completion of essential duties. Proficient in Motivational Interviewing, De-escalation skills, Harm Reduction and Crisis management.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass a level II background check and drug screen.
Valid Florida driver's license, own transportation vehicle, and insurance required.
