Job Description
While our home base is located in Casey, Illinois, we hire remotely to fill positions that are near specific areas. We are currently looking for candidates that live within 30 miles of Carlsbad, NM. The position would generally have the employee leave from their home in the morning and return at the end of the day. However, there may be a possible overnight on occasion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Locating underground pipeline with pipeline locator
- Monitor 3rd party job sites near designated pipeline
- Damage Prevention
- Apply pipeline coating
- Perform exothermic welding
- Perform wire testing
- Objectively describe and report job site activity in clear, concise details and enter into log application using company cell phone app
- Mandatory overtime with occasional weekend work
Skills Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to work independently
- Able to walk at various inclines.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and wear required PPE equipment.
- Ability to read maps and measuring tape
- Ability to work within the inconsistent job paces of the position without deterring from one’s alertness.
- Ability to pass all training qualifications tests and certifications designated for this position.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Education: High School Degree or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background check and pre-employment DOT drug test is required.
- TWIC card preferred, but not required
Pay Rate: $24 per hour
**Rate of pay during training will be $15 an hour. Training takes approximately 7-10 days and potentially will be completed in Casey, Illinois depending upon the company's timeline
