Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional civil engineering services in all aspects of municipal projects including design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of contractors and consultants, etc.
- Participate in various design and construction meetings required for municipal, land development, and aviation projects, including design meetings with clients and sub-consultants, pre-bid and construction meetings with contractors and equipment suppliers as required
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget
- Provide periodic onsite observation supervision during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and collaborate with contractors and construction teams to resolve any technical issues that may arise.
- Maintain client relationships and communications and provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns promptly
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to contribute new ideas to the team
Skills and Competencies Desired
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution w/ Professional Engineer licensure. Or, currently making progress towards licensure in South Dakota, Iowa or Minnesota.
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively at different organization levels; work collaboratively in a team-setting; and the ability to provide a positive project experience for clients and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic work environment.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and determined with an aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the capacity to quickly adapt as necessary.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools and Microsoft office software.

Salary : $75,000 - $120,000
