Position Overview: Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Lockport, LA facility. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation.
- Perform general office tasks with high attention to detail, including organizing reports and maintaining engineering records.
- Support electrical system design and analysis, including reviewing schematics, electrical diagrams, and component specifications.
- Assist in evaluating power distribution systems, control circuits, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other personnel to support various projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD, MATLAB, or electrical design software is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
