Position Overview
The intern will perform semi-routine general office tasks to support the department, providing clerical assistance as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Program Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills applicable to department requirements.
• Ability to interact professionally with company personnel.
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform clerical tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, and mailing.
• Answer and direct telephone calls.
• Maintain routine records and manage databases.
• Input and organize information, data, and records.
• Compose general correspondence.
• Assist in preparing reports and research materials.
• Shadow multiple office positions and receive training in various administrative tasks.
• Support the department and supervisory staff with general clerical duties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental policies, and quality system principles.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
