Job Title: Material Coordinator C
Location: Pascagoula, MS, US
Job Summary:
The Material Coordinator C assists Material Control personnel in tracking and managing warehouse inventory, ensuring the availability of materials for production. This role requires a basic knowledge of material operations to determine material needs, coordinate material movement to job sites, and maintain accurate documentation related to material receipt and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Material Control in tracking and managing warehouse inventory.
• Kit materials based on spreadsheet lists or Central Planning-generated lists.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to determine material availability.
• Arrange transportation of available materials to job sites.
• Maintain and organize paperwork associated with material receipt, movement, and inventory management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Prior shipbuilding experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with the bill of materials.
• Familiarity with shipyard terminology is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 2 years’ experience in Material Operations in one or more of the following areas: Warehouse / Inventory/ Raw Material/ Storeroom.
