Job Title: Program Coordinator B

Location: Pascagoula, MS, US

Overall Function:

Assist/support the Program Management Office in the coordination efforts of all engineering, purchasing, scheduling, and subcontract work.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities:

•    Represent the Program Management Office in internal and external meetings on ongoing topics of discussion as needed.

•    Drive daily communication and interaction with matrix team members and customer representation to ensure program milestones are met.

•    Supply department leads with information and analysis data as requested.

•    Develop and maintain graphical representations/presentations of critical data and reports illustrating program status and performance.

•    Develop and maintain process instructions, associated workflows, and issue guidelines in support of efficient practices.

•    Develop budget spreadsheets or reports, forecast resource requirements, and status progress for assigned Work Study or Technical Instructions.

•    Assist in reviews and submissions of contract document deliverables.

•    Support planning and coordination of all program key events.

•    Attend daily production meetings during construction.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

•    Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills.

•    Strong analytical skills.

•    Ability to prioritize and handle emergent tasks.

•    Ability to work in a team environment.

•    Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

•    Ability to effectively coordinate and follow through with various tasks.

•    Ability to multi-task.

•    Ability to interface with all levels of management.

•    Has an understanding of shipyard processes, terminology, etc.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

•    2 years of experience in shipbuilding and/or program/project management preferred.

•    5 years of solid administrative/office support experience.

•    Associate's degree or a commensurate combination of education and experience.
