Description
Bollinger Motors is seeking a PMO Specialist that is fluent in both English and Mandarin to support and enhance efficiency of project management within Bollinger Motors. This position reports to the Senior Program Manager. This is an in-person role at the company's Oak Park, MI headquarters.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Senior Program Manager
- Act as a liaison between the company and Chinese suppliers
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between project teams, suppliers, stakeholders, and senior management in both Mandarin and English, both oral and written
- Prepare, translate, and review technical and business documents between Mandarin and English, ensuring accuracy and consistency in technical terminology and context
- Work with our operations team in China, relaying project status to English speaking stakeholders and vice versa
- Provide comprehensive support to the PMO in planning, executing, and monitoring projects
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
- Create, update, and track open item lists for internal and external meetings and also daily email requests
- Follow up on action items and ensure alignment across teams and suppliers
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and project plans
- Ensure all projects adhere to company standards, methodologies, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with multiple departments on a regular basis including but not limited to Engineering, Purchasing, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance
- Proactively raise alerts to management if and when any risks to program targets arise
