Position Overview
The Program Data Administrator supports the Configuration Management (CM) process within Engineering by maintaining metrics for the Configuration Control Board (CCB) across various programs. Additionally, the Program Data Administrator is responsible for establishing and maintaining configuration control for all program-generated change documents, both electronically and in hard copy. The position reports directly to the Program Data Manager.

Position Overview

Additionally, the Program Data Administrator is responsible for establishing and maintaining configuration control for all program-generated change documents, both electronically and in hard copy. - Transfer Engineering and Program Deliverables to the customer via the Customer Portal.
- Maintain and track Program Change Documentation, such as ECPs, ECRs, TPs, TIs, PTS/SOWs, RFPs, RFVs, and GFI/GFIDs.
- Provide contract management support, including data rights.
- Interface with Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Purchasing, Accounting, Production Control, and management as required.
- Identify, document, and audit files and file structures within SharePoint for Document Control and Configuration Management.
- Perform final review of deliverables prior to submission.
- Manage NSERC/COMMS Exchange Accounts.
- Support Bill of Material development and maintenance, including DCAA Audit Corrections and Accuracy Reporting.
- Track and audit dynamic change logs for in- and out-of-scope changes, providing an audit trail of program design decisions and modifications.
- Conduct regular Lien Management audits within KMS or R3 systems, ensuring accurate lien capture and completion.
- Support CDRL management, submissions, tracking, and reporting as required.
- Maintain IDE access and PKI renewals if necessary.
- Manage government comment letters related to CDRL submissions if required.
- Assist the program group with related tasks and perform other incidental duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Program Management, Project Teams, Engineering, and Production Personnel to fulfill contractual requirements.
- Proficiency in preparing presentation materials for meetings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of configuration and change management activities for major federal government shipbuilding programs, including industry regulations and company standards.
- Familiarity with shipbuilding procedures for identifying and documenting functional and physical characteristics of configured items, controlling changes to those characteristics, and managing the change and implementation process.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of configuration item identification, change order processes, and configuration management milestones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; familiarity with database administration tools (Microsoft Access, SQL Server, or Oracle) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Ships Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS).
- College degree preferred.
- Candidate A: 5–10 years of shipbuilding experience with recent focus on configuration, change, data management, and process development.
- Candidate B: 2–5 years of shipbuilding experience in similar areas.
