Typical Duties And Responsibilities
Completion of two years of college-level coursework equivalent to an AA degree in Industrial Technology or a related field, along with relevant design experience. Equivalent experience and training may also be considered.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs for piping systems and layouts.
- Coordinate with other sections to ensure integration and accuracy.
- Review and check drawings when necessary, which may require entering production areas.
- Ensure compliance with CAD standards and Bollinger design guidelines.
- Utilize Bollinger standards and common materials wherever applicable.
- Ensure that all work meets the requirements of applicable Regulatory Bodies and job specifications.
- Follow Bollinger standard practices and procedures, including PRNs, ECPs, EARs, Budget Requests, and drawing check-out processes.
- Coordinate and review vendor-supplied information to ensure compatibility with designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
- Incorporate and document feedback from owners, regulatory bodies, and governing entities into final designs.
- Strong understanding of piping design principles and drafting techniques.
- Basic knowledge of shipbuilding, industrial piping systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to piping design.
- Proficiency in working with drafting materials, CAD software, and modeling tools.
- ShipConstructor software required.
