Role Summary:
The Senior Production Project Scheduler will oversee the workflow for departments and operations according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times. This role involves managing departmental workflows, assisting in planning manufacturing operations, and preparing production reports.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage departmental workflows based on established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Assist in planning fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to guide production workers.
- Confer with department supervisors to determine project status.
- Prepare production reports and update quarterly customer reviews.
- Develop build strategies with production and project management teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and preparing production schedules for industrial manufacturing and/or fabrication projects.
- Proficient in utilizing basic computer software (MS Office applications).
- Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software required; MS Project experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to organize and multi-task multiple projects effectively.
- Shipbuilding and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience a plus.
