Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual mills, lathes, and drill presses to fabricate machine components.
- Use measuring tools such as dial calipers and micrometers to ensure precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Perform quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with manual and CNC machining.
- Proficiency in operating manual mills, lathes, and drill presses.
- Ability to use measuring tools (dial calipers and micrometers).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and work instructions.
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and best practices.
- Attention to detail and precision in fabricating components.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members and departments.
