Basic Function :
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the engineering aspects of assigned projects across various disciplines, such as mechanical, piping, electrical, and naval architecture. The role involves initializing, organizing, and monitoring engineering projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Coordination : Oversees the engineering aspects of projects, ensuring integration across multiple disciplines.
- Deadline and Budget Management : Develops and controls project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion within financial constraints.
- Requirements Analysis : Ensures compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership : Works with engineering managers and leads to integrate project activities and technical deliverables.
- Technical Support : Provides technical support to business development, estimating, and on-site support teams.
- Primary Point of Contact : Acts as the main engineering liaison for customers, Program Management Office, Production, Purchasing, Outside Design Agents, and Regulatory Authorities.
- Problem-Solving : Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, addressing project challenges effectively.
