What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tackers (FCAW) position at Bollinger Shipyards?
Bollinger Shipyards is seeking experienced (FCAW) Tack Welders to join its team.
A Tack Welder provides necessary tools to a ship fitter and assists as directed to include tacking, grinding, or other assigned duties. Must have a minimum of 3 months of tack welding experience. Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on (FCAW) tacker T-joint test in the vertical and overhead positions with the vertical position tack welded with downhill progression. Familiarity with basic welding or fitting processes is preferred.
