POSITION SUMMARY
The Distribution Center (DC) Office Lead will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Receiving, validating, and coding freight invoices;
- Tracking, communicating, scheduling, and receiving inbound shipments;
- Quoting, scheduling, and creating shipping documentation for outbound shipments;
- Tracking international shipments in the warehouse and preparing for export;
- File all critical documents for future reference;
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Confirming freight charges on invoices, coding for payment, and entering into Lotus in a timely manner;
- Coordinate inbound shipment delivery with the carrier and the DC Operations Manager;
- Communicate inbound shipment status to stakeholders within the organization;
- Receive inbound shipments into ERP and WMS;
- Review outbound shipments to determine the best shipping option which provides the best cost to the customer while meeting the customer’s delivery expectations;
- Create shipping documentation and schedule outbound shipments for pickup;
- Monitor all international shipments until they are packed complete;
- Create export documents for international shipments;
- File all critical documents for future reference;
- Process FedEx EU Consolidation shipments, including AES filing;
- Other duties/tasks as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Warehouse environment;
- High temperatures may be experienced in summer within distribution center working spaces;
- Stairs must be able to be navigated to reach various areas of the buildings;
- Some work may be held outdoors, which is subject to a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, etc.).

Education
- High School diploma or GED
