Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for the Shipping and Receiving Lead role at Bolt Medical will possess exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with a strong focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and shipment of products, managing the department's procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage the department's procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with department requirements.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against pick/packing lists, bills of lading, orders, or other records.
- Prepare items for shipment by approved carrier UPS, DHL, FedEx. Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure products are picked, properly packed, and shipped per the SOP.
- Manage the timely receipt of all products, materials, supplies, and equipment. Pack and unpack orders while maintaining department schedule.
- Comply with quality system procedures, GMP's, and comply with global, federal, state, and local material handling and shipping transportation requirements of raw materials and finished goods.
Qualifications
Education: High school or equivalent with minimum 4 years' experience in a Shipping/Receiving environment or equivalent work experience.
Required Experience:
- Current DOT/IATA training certification
- Current Hazardous Materials training certification
- Ability to invest time, as required, expediting or completing assignments which may necessitate working evening and/or weekend hours as necessary to meet business demands
- High level computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to learn new software, such as enterprise business software
