WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
JOB DESCRIPTION : The Human Resources Generalist will have responsibilities related to employee management including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment, leave of absence, policy and regulations, performance management, training, compliance, development, Benefits and disciplinary action. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with fellow HR team members and operational managers to ensure the successful execution of all HR strategies.
J OB DUTIES :
Experience providing consultative and collaborative advice and support to business leaders on HR matters, including employee relations, benefits, leaves, recruitment, disciplinary action, immigration and performance management.End to End Employee Relations investigations.Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.Conduct or / and coordinator worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations.Communicate with managers and employees on a regular basis to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.This position will guide departmental management in developing and delivering training that enhances employee professional growth and supports organizational change by communicating ways for the organization to become more effective, especially in the area of developing and growing talent.Serve as advisor on company employment policies and conflict resolution to all levels of management within the company.Collaborates with cross- functional teams to ensure clients' organizational needs are met and to develop strategic programs.Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.Solicits and listens to employee's concerns and takes an active role in resolving problems.Provides information, or facilitates employees' ability to obtain information, about benefits, compensation, training and other employee programs.Implement and communicate company policies, procedures, and initiatives.New Hire Navex SchedulingConduct and analyze Exit InterviewsLeading day to day administration of human resource tasks with direction from the human resources Director.Execute and communicate Departing PaperworkEnsure 30,60,90s are being administered accordingly.Facilitate monthly employee training.Review on the cusp discipline with HR Leaders to action plan.End to end process of ER Cases across the organization.Review and approve attendance and disciplines to also support the organization.Support and model employee engagement initiatives.Perform quarterly Kronos Audits for Wage & Hour ComplianceCollect, compile, analyze and prepare reports for HR compliance.Conduct Self Audits to ensure compliance with all employment laws, OSHA, Workers' Comp., I9's, and DOT regulations.Engage in regular follow-up meetings with managers, TA, and HR Leaders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.Regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.Travel to support when needed to other locations.Perform other duties as assigned.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's Degree and / or 2 years of experience in Human Resources and or Environmental Health & Safety.Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordBilingual- Fluent in Spanish, ability to read, write and speak.Preferred Qualifications :
Human Resources generalist with emphasis in performance development, training, employee relations, benefits and leave administration.Knowledge of OSHA standardsWorkers' Comp or EHS CertificationKnowledge of CA health & safety regulationsPhysical Demands :
Operate office equipment requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.Work is performed primarily in an office setting, with the majority of the time at a computer workstation with frequent interruptions.May be required to stand / walk for extended period of time during work, occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist.Ability to climb stairs / steps and work in cold environments.Will be required to enter production / operations environment to conduct investigations.Lift, carry, push, and / or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 lbs.HOURS & WORKDAYS :
1st Shift - 5 : 00AM to 1 : 30 PM; Monday through Friday onsite, when business requires before / after hours will be mandatory. Will be part of a weekend rotation to provide weekend support as needed.
