Position Overview:
The Construction Laborer is a hands-on position supporting every phase of the construction process, from digging and setting up plumbing to concrete work and cleanup. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in the construction trades, learn a variety of skills and be part of a dependable, hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with site prep
- Support form setting, rebar placement, plumbing layout and concrete pours
- Operate power tools, hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Load/unload materials, tools and supplies
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Work closely with site supervisors and tradespeople to ensure project efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, outdoor conditions
- Comfort using tools and equipment (training provided)
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license with a clean driving record is a plus
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
