Job Summary: Join our housekeeping team! Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The Housekeeper is responsible for providing clean and comfortable surroundings for resort guests.
Essential Skills
Customer Service Expectations: Employee is expected to be courteous and professional in accordance with Bolton's commitment to providing superior customer service.
Qualifications: Entry level
Required Knowledge and Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, and to read written instructions. A good understanding of guest expectations.
Physical and Mental Demands: Position involves lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. as well as pushing and pulling heavy objects. The majority of work time is spent standing, walking, bending, pushing and pulling. Some stress may result from dealing with difficult guests.
Work Environment: Most work is performed inside, but some outside shoveling of hotel room balconies is required. Riding in and/or driving a Bolton vehicle may be required to access condos for cleaning.

Essential Skills
- Arrive on time as scheduled for all shifts- must be dependable and willing to work. This position requires a flexible schedule that includes the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
- An attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to be on your feet and perform physically demanding tasks for the entirety of the shift.
- Maintain the property in a clean, orderly and sanitary way through the washing, cleaning, vacuuming and care of all rooms and common areas as assigned.
- Adhere to Bolton Valley procedures and guest room and suite cleaning procedures as outlined in the Housekeeping Manual. Comply with property and state and federal safety regulations in handling various cleaning solvents and chemicals.
- Participate in weekly training to ensure adherence to property cleaning standards.
- Report any needed repairs of rooms or common areas to the Housekeeping Manager as needed.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area. Move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, hang draperies, dust blinds, and polish metalwork to ready hotel facilities for occupancy.
- Deliver items to guest rooms on request.
- Keeping all workspaces clean and stocked
- Common area cleaning duties
- Setting up for employee housing move ins and outs
- Additional "side work" that sometimes can fluctuate depending on our current operations. Examples of this are things like making bed in bags, doing cots, laundry, etc. These additional tasks fluctuate seasonally depending on operational needs.
