Job Title: Electrical Estimator
About the Job
We are seeking experienced electrical estimators to join our team. As an electrical estimator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all estimating functions, including development of project budgets, estimates, cost tracking, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help develop and implement department standards and procedures.
- Review final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain the company estimating database.
- Manage estimates, review bid requests and proposals, and prepare weekly bid calendars.
- Prioritize and plan work activities, delegate tasks, and motivate others to perform well.
- Attend job walks, report information back to manager, and prepare bid summaries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years electrical estimating experience.
- Field experience as an electrician or degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Extensive experience using estimating software.
- Strong ability to conceptually estimate electrical construction projects.
- Familiarity with Baltimore Industry Business and surrounding counties.
