Based on the specific needs and job requirements, this role will be working out of our Bombas HQ in New York City.
About the Job :
Bombas is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our engineering team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, they'll use their technical expertise to lead work across multiple engineering teams and help guide the evolution of our online store experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience leading teams and managing other engineers.
What you'll be responsible for :
- Working closely with other engineering leaders, product managers, and business stakeholders to define team roadmaps, assess technical feasibility, and drive planning and implementation of various customer-facing initiatives across the stack
- Leading by example to ensure the high quality and on-time execution of multiple simultaneous projects
- Driving strategy and and intentional decision making that balances support of high priority business goals while minimizing technical debt
- Serving as both a resource and mentor to empower your reports and other engineers to own and execute on their work, and navigate their professional development
- Evolution of org-wide process improvements in service of efficient execution and high quality site experience

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $160,000 and $200,000 / year . However, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market factors, and business need.
The Bombas total rewards package offered for this position may also include other elements, such as annual bonus and equity target award opportunities as well as medical, financial, and well-being benefits. Additional details of these benefits will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
