In this role, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of various flooring projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding the high standards Bomberger's is known for. Responsibilities:
- Schedules the installation of floor covering with customers. Helps coordinate other trades that are part of our scope of work like plumbing etc. Review the workorder and estimates the length of the project; confirms materials are on hand and determines when installation staff are available. Contacts customer to set up date and time for work to begin. Assigns work crews to each installation project
- Dispatches jobs to flooring installers.
- Follows up and resolves issues with shortages or damaged product or materials to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner.
- Follows up on any materials or workmanship issues after completion of installation; schedules service work; communicates with customers to resolve problems and ensure satisfaction.
- Identifies, selects, and evaluates installation on sub-contractors; assigns work.
- Works closely with Sales and Estimators; asks and answers questions regarding pending and on-going work projects.
- Works closely with Purchasing to ensure materials are available for scheduled jobs.
- Gathers all required paperwork and information for billing once the job has been completed.
- Facilitates regular meetings with installers.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Assists installers on work site; delivers materials, helps to carry or move materials, furniture or appliances and aids in tear out of existing floors.
- Makes scheduled and unscheduled visits to job sites.
- Travels to suppliers to pick up product.
- Assists Warehouse in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Involved in coordinating vehicle maintenance/repair schedules with the company fleet manager.
This position directly supervises approximately 15 employees as well as coordinates with subcontractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:
- Ability to communicate with firmness and confidence instructions and information regarding cabinet projects to everyone involved.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Eagle Inventory software, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software, Microsoft Word Processing, Outlook and Google Docs software.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers; deliver difficult or unpleasant information; remain calm under pressure and de-escalate situations.
- Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage constant change.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
