Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Process sales transactions, including returns and exchanges.
- Maintain knowledge of products to provide effective product demos and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Experience in supervising staff or assisting in training new employees is beneficial.
