Qualifications:
· Cashier experience preferred
· Ability to multi-task
· Detail oriented
· Clear and concise communication skills
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
· Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, rotating weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome customers
· Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit/debit cards, and checks)
· Scan, bag items, and issue receipts for customers
*Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
· Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
· Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
· Handling phone calls
*Pre-employment drug screen required
