What are the responsibilities and job description for the Department Lead (Cashier) position at Bomgaars?
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Cashier experience to fill a Department Lead position. The individual will oversee Cashiers and the register area while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
· Cashier experience preferred
· Ability to multi-task
· Detail oriented
· Product knowledge
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
· Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Must be available to work flexible schedules - Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm OR 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome customers
· Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
* Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
· Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions
· Handling phone calls
