What are the responsibilities and job description for the Key Carriers position at Bomgaars?
Bomgaars is seeking motivated, responsible individuals with Key Carrier experience. Key Carrier is a supervisory role with operational emphasis over various areas in the store and help the Store Manager lead a productive team.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older and subject to pre-employment screenings (firearms sold at this location)
- Product knowledge
- Retail and management experience preferred (15 to 30 employees)
- Detail oriented/Computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing operations of the store to include team coaching, inventory control, and labor control
- Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers
- General Sales Clerk duties to ensure store is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Cashier/Cash handling
- Freight handling/Forklift operation
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
