What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiver position at Bomgaars?
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated individual with forklift and receiving experience. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years or older
· Communication skills
· Must be able to lift and move heavy objects on a regular basis
· Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Computer skills preferred, but can train
· Motivated and Detail oriented
*Product knowledge helpful
· Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
· Freight handling, distribution, and merchandising the sales floor
· Forklift operation, unload trucks, outside lot (varying weather conditions)
· Process company vendor buybacks, defectives, special orders, and raincheck items (to include customer notifications)
· Keep Receiving Bay organized
* Assist in Plants/Nursery department as needed
* Assembly of products
· Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
· Other tasks as assigned
