What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sporting Goods Department Lead position at Bomgaars?
Our new Bomgaars store in Cheyenne is seeking a motivated, responsible individual as a Department Lead over the Sporting Goods department. Prefer individual has supervisory experience as well as firearms and sporting goods merchandise knowledge. Position offers an opportunity to be a productive team member.
Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years or older
· Subject to an applicable background check
· ATF compliance knowledge/Administrative skills to handle paperwork and record keeping
· General knowledge in the sale of new firearms
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
· Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Must be available to work flexible schedules – days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
· Freight handling/forklift operation
· Cashier
· Sales/Stocking/Recovery
· Ensure the Sporting Goods department is clean, organized, and well stocked
· Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
· Handling phone calls
· Other tasks as assigned
