Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual as a Department Lead over the Sporting Goods department. Prefer individual has supervisory experience as well as firearms and sporting goods merchandise knowledge. Position offers an opportunity to be a productive team member.
Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years or older
· Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and applicable background check
· ATF compliance and sales of new firearms general knowledge/experience
· Computer skills
* Detail oriented for accuracy in paperwork
* Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
· Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Must be available to work flexible schedules – days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
· Freight handling/forklift operation
· Cashier/Cash handling
· Sales/Stocking/Recovery
· Ensure the Sporting Goods department is clean, organized, and well stocked
· Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
· Handling phone calls
· Other tasks as assigned
