Hair/Makeup Artist

Bomshell Experience is a rapidly growing, industry leading boudoir portrait studio in Syracuse NY focused on helping women to witness the worthiness and beauty they have inside. We are looking for a talented and versatile Hair & Makeup Artist to join our Bomsquad. This role goes beyond styling - it’s about being a key part of our studio team, ensuring clients feel empowered, confident and comfortable through their boudoir portrait session.

This might be the position for you if:

• You’ve got killer hair and makeup skills and love making clients feel (and look) fabulous before their boudoir session.
• Client comfort is your priority, and your positive and calming personality can help hype even the most nervous of humans.
• You’re a jane-of-all-trades - just as ready to help with lighting and backdrops as you are touching up lipgloss.
• You have a sixth sense for keeping the studio vibe on point - music, props and everything organized to perfection.
• You’re a social media maven who loves creative bold, fresh content that shows off our badass sessions and behind-the-scenes magic.
• You’ve got no problem getting your hands dirty - whether it’s cleaning the studio, managing supplies or handling equipment.
• Teamwork makes the dream work, and you’re all in for brainstorming, special projects and helping the team come up with wild new ideas!

This position is a hair and makeup artist’s dream - no booth rental and no personal marketing required. Our Bomsquad will fill your calendar with clients, and the studio supplies everything you need - makeup, tools, equipment, etc! This position is a part-time, Monday-Friday position at $40/hour.
