Your role involves driving event sales and managing operations, with a 60% sales and 40% operational split. Responsibilities include menu development, event costing, marketing, and full oversight of event logistics from setup to clean-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage luxury dining experiences, optimize strategic menu pricing, and maximize revenue.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of managers; enhance service techniques, menu presentation, and operational policies.
- Manage catering activities, create and issue proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
- Generate operating statements, operational budgets, and oversee receivables collection.
- Maintain client databases, build vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle budget preparation, financial forecasting, and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proven sales track record in luxury dining with strong knowledge of current food and industry trends.
- At least two years of hospitality experience, including one year in catering sales.
- Comprehensive skills in supervisory, scheduling, training, and coaching.
- Proficient in writing menu proposals in collaboration with chefs and managing event logistics.
- Superior communication, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of A/V equipment, with a proactive mindset and exceptional client relations abilities.
