Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sheet metal machinery including:
- AccurPress Model 713010 (130 Ton Press Brake)
- Adira Power Squaring Shears Model GHS-0630
- IMAC FA 200/6 Hydraulic Angle Notcher (200 Bar)
- Review technical drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication requirements.
- Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal using press brakes, shears, and notchers.
- Set up equipment and adjust for different metals and thicknesses.
- Ensure quality and precision of fabricated parts.
- Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety protocols.
- Operate a forklift for material handling as needed.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
- Hands-on experience operating the listed machines.
- Forklift certification or proven experience operating forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
